Naming Background Ponies Thread!

As a nice reference, why don’t we name her after a type of bird that’s related to nightingales? Maybe something like Great Stonewing, Flycatcher, Stonechat, or maybe even something simple like Robin.

Though this may not have much merit, in Newbie Dash, remember that the Wonderbolt’s nicknames are named after accidents and blunders?  
So when I think of the unnamed Wonderbolt mare as Stonewing it makes me think of the Fluttershy scenario where her wings lock up and plummet

Not exactly, a poll is usually made for the names suggested for the characters off site, unless its the only name suggested for the character.

That was me - it was before i found this thread and i decided to tag her as nightingale since she was similar enough to the shadowbolt. however, i’m wiling to finally have a vote for her.

I suggest that her name be something more simple and akin to the Wizard of Oz. Something as simple as Wick or another like Greyda or Gretchen

Something more than just a name, since they are musicians, I’m thinking something that can be used as a stage name like Vinyl Scratch and Octavia which alone sounds like a stage name yet represents who they are and what they love to do.

Did anybody ever name this guy official-like? He apparently goes by crimson heart here, but it’s a green tag and has been for all three years it’s been in use.

Looks like he was named at the same time as the two new mares who appeared in that scene, but just didn’t get his tag changed to a character for whatever reason.
 
I’d be OK with just keeping him with that name.
 
Incidentally, looks like he got recolored for Midnight Snack.
