Her fur coat reminds me of a nice autumn day near the evening and her mane looks like brown leaves on the pavement of a park.
or
Fireside Quill
Fireside isn’t meant to be taken in a literal sense or contribute to being fast or anything. Rather it is meant to convey that she is someone who likes to sit by a fire, preferably in her own studies reading what I would assume to be a book. Fitting for a Librarian or Professor I would say.
For the Chocolate Mare, cause in the wiki it still shows she is nameless,

The brown mare in the second screencap is new. Maybe we should make her a relative of Brown Sugar?
Though I think Brown Sugar is a good name it just doesn’t quite sit well with me cause her mane gets in the way of doing that name justice.
with “Cocoa Poprocks” It gives you the obvious reason for chocolate but contrasts her mane as a fizzy popping candy-like nature, just look at that mane, reminds me of poprocks.

His melancholy frown depicting a serious journalistic behavior and his overall color scheme I couldn’t help but think of Jade and Bugle, mostly cause on the Bugle part I started thinking of Jay Jhona Jamison from Spiderman

I agree, Junior. a classic name for a janitor! I was thinking of simple names for him just like Junior
FYI: This is the fruit of my labor from reading pages 1 - 12 next time I do this it’ll be Page 12 -24. Despite the ideas made in the past, some of these ponies still have no Placeholder Name. I’d like these put into vote sometime.
