Music that reminds you of your favorite pony

Music is a powerful thing. It can influence our emotions and thoughts, it can inspire us, or remind us of certain things.
 
Every once in a while I stumble upon music that helps me think of my favorite characters. I go “hey, this piece really fits Twilight Sparkle”.  
Sometimes I come across pieces that would make for great background music for the scenarios I come up with.  
Sometimes the music is just so good, I can’t help but create a scenario on the spot and watch it play out in my imagination as I listen.
 
How does music inspire you and what tracks do you associate with your favorite character?
 
As for me, when I hear this track link I can’t help but imagine Spike’s origin story.

Some of the Ren and Stimpy Production music reminds me of the characters.  
this piece makes me think of Pinkie hopping up and down the roads of ponyville
 
and there’s the wing cap theme from Mario 64, makes me think of Dash flying through cloudsdale

Superman By Eminem reminds me Of Prince Blueblood

Judas Priest “Touch of Evil” brings Chrissy to mind.  
i’m sure there’s more. gotta dig though my cd’s and mp3’s.

I am a big Queen fan.  
And everytime i hear the Song “Spread your wings” i have to think about Twilight Sparkle.

It makes me think of the Wonderbolts in general, not just Spitfire.

Carolus Rex by Sabaton and World Eater by Bolt Thrower remind me of King Sombra.

Just guess (real original, I know).

I tend to think of Princess Luna when I hear “Bring Me To Life” by Evanescence. Particularly the line, “I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems.”

Two songs make me thing of Pinkie Pie.

Sunlight Moonlight by Septic Flesh. The perfect metal theme for both Celestia and Luna :P

Since Green isn’t your color is one of the first episodes I remember seeing, I have since had thoughts of Fluttershy when I hear the song Lady Picture Show
 
But the song In Sympathy by Depeche Mode has lyrics that makes me think of each of the mane6 and the show in general. so much so that I’ve often thought of trying my hand at making a PMV.

Ministry’s “Jesus Build My HotRod” for Dashie.  
Queen’s “Its a Kind Of Magic” for Twilight. (of course.)  
Tom Jones “She’s a Lady” for Rarity.

Because of “Wonderbolts Academy” and its Top Gun references, every time I hear “Danger Zone” I think of Rainbow Dash.
 
And Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger” reminds me of one of my favorite pairings, Celestia/Discord (no comments, please!)

For some reason PONPONPON reminds me of Sweetie Belle.

“Rains of castamere” (Game of Thrones Soundtrack) has somehow become “Sombra’s Theme” for me (and i don’t even watch GOT O.o).  
And “Mami’s Theme” from Puella Magi Madoka Magica makes me think of Celestia.

Oh, and “BAD APPLE!” (that Touhou song you’ve probably heard a bazillion times) reminds me so much of Luna.

Sponge - Plowed probably because I associate it with awesomedreamcoder, who did some pretty nifty 3D pony models in April of 2011. I can’t stop associating the song with Rainbow Dash.
 
 
Two Steps From Hell - Freedom Fighters  
I can’t help but think of Epic Rainboom, and Rainbow Dash
 
 
“Florence & The Machine - Cosmic Love” makes me think of Twilight and Luna, from The Stars Will Aid In Her Escape
 
 
Coldplay’s “Paradise” reminds me of a young Princess Celestia.
 
 
Two Steps From Hell’s Little Ben makes me think of a very young Princess Luna. A bit innocent, but already dark and mysterious. It’s such a beautiful song.
 
 
The Race, Play, Learn, Love, Shine and Strive songs make me think of each Mane Six pony. I bought all the respective songs, because they make me happy.
 
 
Blue October’s “Jump Rope”, and Imagine Dragon’s “On Top of the World” both remind me of Pinkie Pie. Sometimes you just need hope even when you’ve hit bottom. It’s helped me more than once.
 
 
Oh, and Duran Duran’s Runway Runaway reminded me of Fluttershy ever since “Green Isn’t Your Color”.
