Fluttershy's Parents' Names

Well, we should figure out some names for them, since the names given by the episode (Mr. and Mrs. Shy) were vague as can be. Until now, some names proposed were:
 
Fluttershy’s Father:  
-Swirly Skies  
-Swirly Clouds  
-Swirl Breeze  
-Nimbus Shy
 
Fluttershy’s Mother:  
-Posey Shy  
-Posey Feathers  
-Blossom Shy  
-Mimosa Shy
 
Thoughts, suggestions and votes are welcome.

Well since their canon last names are “Shy”, you can go ahead and scratch off Swirly Skies, Swirly Clouds, Swirl Breeze, and Posey Feathers.

I would vote for “Posey Shy” as the mother’s name and “Swirl Breeze” as the father’s name.

Well Fluttershy’s mom has 3 flowers for a cutie mark, so I’d say Posey Shy works. (There is a part of me that wants her name to be Chrysanthemum, though, because… I actually don’t know why. She just looks like a Chrysanthemum to me. Chrysanthemum Shy. Mum Shy for short.)
 
For her dad… can I suggest Cirrus? The name for that cloud comes from a Latin word for a curling lock of hair, and assuming wikipedia isn’t lying:  

Besides, Cirrus Breeze or Cirrus Shy would be kind of a fitting name.
 
Still, if suggesting new names isn’t allowed, Swirl Breeze works for me too.

So I guess it’s up to us to name her parents then? Too bad they already named Pinkie’s mother Cloudy or else we could have used it for her father . . . what about Petal and Nimbus? Petal Shy and Nimbus Shy. I think that sounds good together :D Or do we want to stick with the Zephyr Breeze naming style and give them a two-part name? In that case I’d say Summer Gale and Stratus Sky. Gosh, naming is fun ;)

Someone tweet the writers and ask if they have names?

Someone actually did. According to Jim Miller (on twitter) the “fandom will decide”, so I would take that to mean they don’t have official names.

I mean, shouldn’t Rarity be calle Rarity Belle?

While Mr. and Mrs. Shy are not complete names, I think they work fine. Why come up with an unofficial name that not everyone’s going to agree on? This way we can all call them what we want.

“Rarity Belle” sounds like some sort of gestalt entity comprised of Rarity and Sweetie Belle.

Guess my vote goes to Swirly Skies for the father and Posey Shy for the mother.

I personally like Posey Shy and Nimbus Breeze.
