I’m still curious. It’s still interesting because it’s from show staff perspective. At the time, cartoons for kids really didn’t get “fandoms” or much attention at all outside the target demographic. I think it’d still be interesting!

Alicorn drama, “love and tolerate” bronies that diss, criticize, and demonize haters, blank flank CMC sob stories, the alienation of bronies, scootabuse, bg pony AJ.

I wish this thread was more popular than the “Fandom Things You Miss” thread. That one mostly consists of people moping around about how shit the fandom supposedly is now.
 
Anyways, I don’t miss all those anti-brony Tumblr blogs that liked to showcase the worst of the fandom and make it seem like they represented all bronies. I remember some of them were actually run by feminists who thought bronies “stole the show” from women, so in addition to showing off the fandom’s worst as if they were the norm, they would re-blog posts from people like Pinkiepony and Cuteosphere, show support for DWM and PARC, and attack anyone who opposed the movements. Thankfully, pretty much all of the blogs have been dead for years.

I don’t know if this counts, but one thing that I definitely don’t miss was all the anti-brony drama from Deviantart. Back in like 2013-2014 Deviantart, I remember there being a lot of anti-brony groups that would sometimes go to MLP pics and take an incredible amount of shit about them! Thank god that most of these are dormant when all the fandom hype died down.

Ah, this old times

I didn’t miss the days people made Princess Celestia some hidden tyrant, an evil dictator. This also, I didn’t miss the whole Solar Empire vs New Lunar Republic. The idea of the resistance against the evil empire, often led by Princess Luna against the tyranny of her older sister.
 
Sighs, admittedly this has been replaced for many with the idea that Princess Celestia is incompetent or useless at her job.

I don’t miss Fluffy Ponies. Man, that trend was screwed up.

Yeah, that was really stupid, Luna continue like her sister a monarchy, maybe some Equestrian mayors would make an overthrow, but with serious consequences to equestrian defenses.

Then there’s the fluffybooru community; Nothing but toxicity and mean-spiritedness everywhere.

Then there is the sane side of fluffy pony art. Ones that are not abusive, sad, or perilous in anyway.

Personally,I hate her when she’s first introduced, but now I found myself getting fond of her as she’s redeemed and changed her mane😊
