I always use a phone, but I am having that issue, even though
 
settings -> display -> hide vote counts
 
is unchecked for me.

The minimized icons on the menu bar (I am using Firefox on Mac) display mouseover text for me for “Notifications” and “Messages” but not for the third icon, which I guess is “Filters.”

Badge dropdown breaks the side of the screen if you are badumsquish there are enough badges. I think I’d prefer the box to be 5-8 badges wide, and/or align with the right edge of the dropdown, rather than the left.

The scraper has been a bit unreliable for me lately. For the last 5 pictures I uploaded from Tumblr, trying to fetch the picture has always resulted in “Unable to find a valid image at the URL you have provided” at first.  
After hitting fetch again, up to 5 times on my last upload, it did get the picture eventually, though.  
I assume this problem probably is somewhere on Tumblr’s end?

We think it’s on Tumblr’s end, yes; their site in general seems to be a bit slower for general use as well.
 
But yes, the scraper’s failing more often than not and for the last few days I don’t even bother and just put the URL manually like a god damned caveman.

I’ve complained about this before, but I’ll complain again:
 
The tag editor really needs to stop deleting tags that other people added while you were editing them and thus your copy of the tags didn’t include them yet. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve checked the “tag changes” page only to see I accidentally nuked half of the image tags (because THEY WEREN’T THERE YET WHEN I OPENED THE IMAGE) and now I have to hurrily copy-paste them back and hope I get it done before a mod bans me for tag vandalism.
 
This thing used to work, for years, but then it got broke and it just doesn’t seem to get fixed. The fix is simple: merge, don’t replace.

This is no reproducible in the way you describe; the only scenario where this can happen is if two tag changes are done at the same time and go under two different processors, or one submit for some reason lags significantly behind. Please give us example images where this has happened so we can investigate.

This is not normal behavior for the tagging editor, it normally does merge into the new tag, it doesn’t replace. Is there a special set of circumstances for this behavior to replicate? Can you please link us a few images where this has happened?

We’ll have to look into it, find what’s happening to result in this. For now, I’ll just blame gremlins.

I’m certain I didn’t see those two tags on the image when I opened the editor (and even if they were there already, they shouldn’t have been deleted). I had to force-reload the page (to get the most up-to-date copy of everything) and then re-add them.

Say, do you use plain editor over fancy tagging by any chance?

Can you remember if at any point while having those images loaded you hit your browser’s “Back”? That could mess with the site thinking you had the latest version of the tags while the browser deciding to be “fast” and not actually loading the latest changes.

Not in this case. The usual procedure for me is: see an image that needs tag work, open it in a new tab, open the tag editor, do the changes, hit save. Sometimes check the tag history to see if everything went through. If there are missing tags, go back, force-reload the page, fix tags.

Is it just me, or is tag autocomplete not working from .onion? TBB 7.5.3 (based on FF 52.7). I get a little flurry of

when I start typing a tag name. A redirect to the login page doesn’t look right! I assume it’s some cross-origin nonsense.
 
Also, spoilered tags in icon views are showing as (unknown tag) (white text, black background) and never recovering even after reload. As that’s not associated with an event I can trigger, I’ve not dug deeper.

Here, it says artist upload only, with the exception of edits, but I can’t seem to upload an edit. It gives the message:

Sort of a bug, the code is too simple to deal with these edge cases and the DNP listing is arguably incorrect (Having it set to Other will work, gonna change it).

So if I click on this user’s favorites list I get nothing. I think it’s because of the comma :D

I don’t see why anyone would want this to happen… unless of course they entered a post page into the field and in that case copying it into the source is idea. But it shouldn’t in cases where it’s a file…

AFAIK, the reason for that is so that there is some kind of source listed, since you’re using the link to fetch it anyway.

Yeah but using a file as a source is pointless and you’re better off just not putting a source.
