'politics' + 'flags' = DNP Rule #3 ?

Can someone tell me why *this post was removed under rule #3,  
while all these *politics + flags posts aren’t considered ‘unrelated content’?
 
Or did some mod get sensitive about likening Celestia’s alter-ego Daybreaker to Confederates & Nazis?  
The only other major difference compared to most of that search result link is,  
I put in exact quotes from the show too.

Ignoring the substantial quantity of those results that are either original art or high effort, I see relatively few images that might fall under rule 3. Chances are they simply haven’t been reported.
 
Contrary to popular belief, we don’t go around the catalog searching for things to be offended by and delete.

I acknowledge your point about most of those search results being of medium or high effort,  
but I just find it highly suspect that none of my other *low quality political uploads have been deleted, while this one has.
 
It’s easy to imagine someone wandered onto my overtly political post and got ‘triggered’ by the statement being made,  
followed by crying to a mod who just auto-removed it arbitrarily,  
when perhaps that user should just reflect on themselves and reconsider browsing the ‘politics’ tags in the first place.

Well, if you’re complaining that your other uploads haven’t been deleted, I could fix that for you if you’d like… But that seems unnecessarily over-the-top…

I am disgusted at your threat of being silenced like this, but no thank you for your ‘offer’.
 
I will simply concede, and instead upload the image without the simple flag designs,  
keeping the screencaps and direct quotes from the show,  
thus making it completely pony related.
 
That should, I hope, not be a problem.  
I can even promise to not bring up anything political on the new upload,  
considering the relevance would be missing from the post.

Being completely pony doesn’t mean that an edit of some screencaps is not a shitpost.
 
Not saying you recent upload is or isn’t a shitpost - I haven’t looked at it. But editing captions onto screencaps from the show doesn’t automagically make it “art”, “relevant”, or something the site is willing to host in perpetuity.
 
If you’re just looking for someplace to post memes, Imgur is pretty good, and you can link Imgur images in forum posts if it’s something you want to use as the basis for a conversation.

I wasn’t threatening you or trying to silence you - I was merely offering to delete your other uploads for you if you felt they should’ve been deleted.

This had nothing to do with my captioned screencaps, which I have been posting on Derpi for years without issue.
 
I never claimed it was ‘art’,  
and I would rather not argue about how direct quotes from the show on a screencap of the show are or are not relevant.
 
This was about copy-pasting flags onto pony faces for political commentary.  
I removed that and left it as one of my usual captioned edits instead.

I was protesting the deletion of the topic’s upload, so I certainly didn’t want the rest of my uploads deleted too.
 
I was feeling irritable and jaded about someone reporting my post because their eyes couldn’t handle the political commentary.  
But who knows, maybe they really did report just because of low quality and rule #3, and I’m being paranoid.  
Either way, it’s not important enough for me to keep fighting over it.
 
I’m satisfied with the reupload I linked to on this thread, lacking the controversial and low quality stuff.
