Over the weekend, we experienced some issues with how the site was storing cookies on certain Webkit-based browsers, with Vivaldi, Opera, and older versions of Chrome appearing to be the most affected. Under certain conditions, the site was trying to create multiple session cookies for some users, which was having negative impacts on browsing the site.
Update: we have received a few reports that some Firefox users were affected too.
While these issues appear to be largely resolved (huge thanks to byte[] for that), some people have reported lingering effects from this issue. Commonly reported issues are an inability to log into or out of the site, or receiving a “too many redirects” error.
If you encounter any of these issues, or other issues browsing the site, we recommend clearing your cookies for the site. Based on reports so far, clearing your cookies has shown to resolve these issues.

Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Edgy
At this time, we do not believe these browsers were effected by the glitch, as they do not use the WebKit engine
