Is it okay to report a picture instead if there's too many inappropriate comments to report?

I meant to ask yesterday, but it slipped my mind. Basically the issue is taking place here at >>2031442 (merged) and >>2031637.

Some of the comments of the images are probably breaking rule #7 since it is 1. A safe image, and 2. An unedited screencap from the recent EQG special or something. There’s a lot of fetish comments, and while it’s no surprise this moment would attract so many people that a foot fetish, it still isnt appropriate to talk about that sort of thing on an unedited screeencap. What should I do, report the one of the comments and just explain theres more than one if those kind, the image since there’s a lot of those comments, or just not bother with it?

Well, it being preferably that just report the comment that break the rule and then in the description of report you link to every rule breaking comments

Along the same lines, if you report one comment and mention in the text field for the report that the whole thread is a mess, we’ll look through it.
 
When we respond to a report, we don’t look at just the comment that was reported. We take the time to look through the whole thread or the comments around it and the image that it’s on.
 
So just reporting one comment and mentioning that the rest of the thread is F’d up too is fine.
 
It does help us if you pick the comment where you think things started being rule-breaking.

Thanks guys. I usually do try to link others in it if can, but at this point there are si many comments it would be really hard to get them all in efficiently.

Yeah, with something like that, just report the image or one of the worse comments where you think it started to break rules, and let us look at it. I haven’t looked at this particular image myself yet - still at work - but usually when something goes horrible awry it’s fine to report just one pointer to the problem, and we’ll take the time to figure out what to do with the extended mess.
