Would this be a good idea to produce more quality uploads? I know DA has this function for groups, some with 10 or even 1 a day based on someone’s “rank”.

No, we don’t force idea of “high or low quality” uploads. Any pony art _{(which is not against rules, of course)} can be uploaded, and we don’t want to limit it.

How about adding some MLP character icon inserts for comments? Or emoji’s yada-yada.

Yes I have been wondering about that too.

Can the selected text color on the Light Theme be changed to something that has a little more any contrast with the background of the Search field? It’s almost impossible to tell if or what text is selected.

It helps to tell us what browser and version you’re using. Looks like firefox, which works for me:
 

 
But I’m on an extended support release (60.5.1esr), so it’s possible some recent changes have buggered things up.

When recently trying to report an image I realized there is something wrong.  
You see I ran into an image of a child character with her undies being shown after a gust of wind. I mean that’s still wrong and I feel like one should be able to report suggestive images of kids in there underwear. It’s not right and that should be a thing one should be able to report.  
It’s unsettling to think that someone can get away with that…

What I mean is there is no option for reporting suggestive child content only porn. Which is explicit. There are no parts showing but the child is in there underwear, and is very obviously young. Dinky to be exact.

You can still report it as rule 5 - the items listed in the drop down aren’t fully inclusive because of how short they are.

IIRC, it was mentioned that this wouldn’t be implemented because of potential security and/or inappropriate content risks.

i don’t see why youtube would cause security risks.  
also, it wouldn’t cause any more inappropriate content risks than image embedding does..

I wouldn’t exactly be thrilled at poking another hole in our CSP …

YouTube only embeds would be just fine.

The issues for that are:  
Potentially running other people’s web code on your user’s machines(if using oEmbed HTML)  
Having to write/adapt your own custom player to the site (see how fimfic do youtube integration)  
Increasing load times on pages.
