Yeah well the point with those two is, the spoiler image is a perfectly innocent capture from the show itself, the tentacles especially are very different visually from the type of thing it’s filtering.
 
As someone said if a dose of diaper/tentacle that small is too much for someone then shouldn’t they be better off hiding the tag instead of spoilering?
 
On the movie spoiler image though I do agree. I’d really prefer for that image to be repurposed as the spoiler for the anthro characters of the movie because no doubt there will be people who will want to filter those. And use the standard spoiler spoiler image for the movie as a whole.

When you’re adding a tag to an image, then as you start typing, the site automatically shows a number of tags that fit what you’ve typed. I wonder if the same thing could be added to the search bar as well?

We don’t have anything built that can accomodate the search grammar.

In addition to what byte[] said, there’s also the issue that many common tags are NSFW terms. We wouldn’t like those to show up so prominently for users on safe filters. Ways of classifying tags themselves as NSFW have been discussed, but no implementation is in progress yet.

It was merely a discussion on how it should be implemented, so it took place in our issue tracker. It will likely end up being a flag or tag category which can be toggled by mods as needed. However, I’ve suggested that the initial assignment be done automatically based on how the tag is used.
 
For example, if the tag anal is used on questionable and explicit images in more than 80% of cases, chances are high that we are dealing with a tag that should be marked as NSFW.

It looks good, though personally I don’t like how it combines the black background. Maybe it could be transparent as many other spoiler images?

The standard for spoiler images is that the background and the title marquee are the same colour. Also, episode/movie/comic spoiler tags have always kept to the same blue colour.

I’m not really sure what you mean. The black starburst around the outside is an overlay, and that’s always a solid color. The pink-purple background gradient behind the characters is transparent in some spoiler images, solid in others. Are you talking about making the color gradient background transparent?

I tried black on black with white text but somebody complained. As for the blue, I didn’t even know that until you pointed it out, and nobody else mentioned it.
 
I wanted to do something unique as the movie is a pretty big departure from anything we’ve had before.

Yes, sorry for the confusion, I mean about that the gradient side could be transparent (or of a lighter color), because I think that the black overlay doesn’t go very well.

Or just use the magenta/pink at the bottom instead of the dark purple. That way, we could keep the black text (like on 90% of all spoiler images), but it’d be easier to read than black on purple.
