Feature suggestions and discussion [READ THE FIRST POST]

CSS variable support for the site is in progress.  

The tag quick box could use some Equestria Girls tags, possibly in their own tab (“EG” or “EqG”). List of movies, specials, series, etc. there aren’t that many of them, I think they should all fit on one page.
 
Official comics and comic series should have their own tab too.

So how about a collapsible tags feature? Because the tags on certain things are getting a bit ridiculous. :v

Adding more effort to blocking tags you don’t like is probably not a good idea.

That’s… literally what the staff actively encourage people to do if they don’t like a tag’s content.
 
And also not related to what I suggested. I was suggesting collapsible tags much like the forum tab at the top of the page) for page clutter related reasons.

He’s basically asking for an option to collasp tags so that they’re not all showing when there’s a lot of them. It wouldn’t make filtering any more difficult.
 
I’ve asked for that feature too, but I don’t know Javascript, so I can’t add it too easily.

I wouldn’t mind it, so long as there’s an option to keep it expanded by default.

Just saying, if the tags are collapsed it will add an extra step to find and block whatever tag the person wants. (Assuming the taglist will be collapsed by default on massively overtagged images.)

Collapsible tag section sounds like a great idea.

Since we’re already talking about tags and optics, could we have a taller default height for Tag Fancy Editing on images with tons of tags? Because scrolling a massive list with just a few lines is awful, and while you can click and drag to make the box bigger it seriously deflates poofs when you have to do it over and over and over while, say, going through a tag with lots of misuse to retag the offenders.

Or is it a part of the account deletion thing in the main post? I did not see it in the list.

You can report your own comments to have them deleted.

They’re never going to allow users to delete their own posts or comments without involving a mod, it would be far too easy for jerkbags to abuse.

How ‘bout option, that allows you to restrict your filter to spoiler/hide content, that is usually spoilered or hidden by this filter, but you upvoted it?  
For example, my own filter spoilers all content that has blood in it, but only because I don’t like when it appears there in big amounts. But if there’s just a bit of blood, I can maybe even like it. And I want to have this option so I can enable it, and then if next time I see image with blood, and I upvote it, my filter will no longer spoiler this exact image for me.
 
If that option will be useless in most cases by your point of view, I will understand. Just say what you think about that.

Complex filter that spoils (blood, !my:upvoted). That way, anything that is tagged with blood but is not upvoted by you will be spoiler’d.
 
Thing is you’d have to check all future images tagged with blood to see if they’re upvote-worthy to you, and upvote them to un-spoiler them. If you’re hiding the tag, then all future images tagged with blood will end up hidden anyways, sort-of forcing you to not be able to upvote the ones you do like.

I’ve recently had some issues with users who are a bit…stalker like, it’s gotten to the point where I can’t engage with my fans when they comment because said user may get upset if they see I’m ignoring them, is blocking users a thing?

We don’t have a blocking feature, but if someone is stalking or harassing you, please report them (or you can PM me directly if you prefer), and it’ll be dealt with.

I guess, tho issue is I know them from a server and well one cannot address what happened somewhere else. Thanks.

Not a big fan of the new small button for tag edits; it should have “Edit” on the button like the tag change button has “Changes”, to make it more obvious.

I’d like the ability to search by number of tags, so I could easily find undertagged images. (If there already is a way to do this, sorry! I can’t find one.)

Far as I remember being told, such a thing isn’t feasible without difficulty.

Given how easy it is to add/remove/change tags, keeping minute-to-minute track of all that for this many images would probably require more computing power than Belgium could afford.
