How about adding the ability to receive notifications by e-mail?

This would be especially useful for personal messages, but also for things like name mentions or just general replies to images or forum posts I’m subscribed to.

How about like…
The ability to save certain tags for quick adding when uploading. You edit which ones it is that you wanna save in the settings.

Say like, for every pic of mine I wanna upload, I gotta type artist:datte-before-dawn
Instead, I have the option to save that tag in a little module in the upload screen, and click it, and it adds it.
To limit site load, it could be like, a maximum of 5 saved tags. More if you subscribe to patreon or whatever.

Dunno how easy or hard it’d be to add that function. Or if it is even practical.

@Datte-Before-Dawn
The Save/Load buttons (below the tag editor) already do that. Write in the common tags you want and save them, then load them for each image you upload and add image-specific tags.

If that’s not enough, use the plain editor and paste in tags you keep stored in a text file somewhere.

EDIT: Nijna’d twice.

Can confirm, does work.

Though I wouldn’t mind a ‘flag for deletion’ button that works more or less the same, except the comment becomes invisible to regular users until a mod actually deletes it or decides that it shouldn’t be deleted.

Notoriously Divine Tagger - Consistently uploads images above and beyond the minimum tag requirements. And/or additionally, bringing over the original description from the source if the image has one. Does NOT apply to the uploader adding several to a dozen tags after originally uploading with minimum to bare tagging.

That sounds like it could be open for some abuse if someone just kept flagging their comment and hiding it. Unless it could be done only once. But then that sounds like even more work for the dev team than just telling people to report themselves.
[Just guessing, no actual idea how difficult something like that would be to implement.]

Personally, I try to not deleting any comment, and takes the same “like a man”.

I have only requested deletion when…
…the comment was about the older version.
…I stupidly posted on the wrong image.
Otherwise I don’t think I’ve requested any deleting.

But that’s just me who never likes to delete stuff (which also becomes a harddrive space issues for me ^^`)

Hi, I’m here about page titles.
So I’ve noticed that many things are now just searches. Watched list is now a search query, favorites list is now a search query, top scoring is now a search query and so on. And because of that a lot of page titles are now starting with “Searching for…” (and in my case, all I see is “Searching f…”, because this is how long my tabs are). So instead of page title “Watched List” I see a page title “Searching f…”, instead of “Top Scoring” I see “Searching f…”, and so on, and it’s kinda hard to understand what’s in your tabs if all titles are saying “Searching f…”. It always was a bit hard to understand what is in your tabs if you are searching for many things at once, but up until recently it wasn’t that big of a problem. Now though, since so many things have turned into search queries, page titles got that much more confusing.

So my suggestions is to put the search query text first, right at the begining of the title. So if I’m searching my watched list, it would say “my:watched” and not “Searched f for my:watched”. I know it’s looks less pretty then “searching for my:watched”, but, I think, it’s a lot more practical.

It’s me again. I’m now gonna go about the new “search terms” feature on that blue bar below the search text field.
So, I don’t know how for everyone else, but for me, when I hover over “search terms” a huge list plops out. In fact, it’s so huge, I need to scroll down to see the rest of it. So my suggestion is, instead of falling down (like that) to make it pop up (like that). I think it would be a lot nicer, easier to use, no scrolling needed.

And my second suggestion is in regards to a somewhat hidden feature “first_seen_at.gte:X days ago”. I simply think it should be added to that search terms list.

I wanna echo this I think. I’d like to see searching for dropped. If you think search ought to be in the title then perhaps “<tags> - search - Derpibooru - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Imageboard”

And why is it “first_seen_at.gte:x days ago”? Shouldn’t it just be “[...].gte:x days”? And shouldn’t greater/less be reversed?
“It was first seen 3 days ago or greater” makes me think 4 is valid; but it’s not.

I think the way it works is when you put in a relative time, it converts that to an absolute time, and then checks for anything “greater than” (after) that time. I agree that’s a little confusing though.
