2 hours to make a generic face and neck!!! omg so much hard work man

I think he was exaggerating, just speculation though.  
I looked at some pictures of Luna and the mane is pretty close.  
it usually long to draw something if you haven’t drawn it before… so if this is a first timer it’s pretty good.

They’re really not very expensive. The cheapest ones are about eighty bucks. But you know, only a poor craftsman blames his tools.  
Until you can get your hands on one, you could always try vectoring. That, and learn some time saving tricks with photoshop or whatever it is you’re using.

2 hours on this? I can’t use tablets due to having the wobblyest hands, but a picture like this should only take 20 minutes. It’s just her head with a gradient fill. The colouring should probably take you 2 minutes, and the lines may have taken 15.  
I don’t mean to come off as rude, but, like you suggest in your description…
 
When I draw a pony’s head with my mouse it does normally take me 2 hours, but that’s because a good mane is hard to shape. It also then comes out looking show accurate, unlike this.
 
And sorry to point this out, but you don’t seem to be that good at writing in English either.

It’s cute that you think that.  
If anything, tablets make pictures take longer, because it forces you to raise your standards of what’s good enough to share.

If you did this with a mouse, that’s quite impressive.
