Twilight, your cutiemark is about magic anyway. Not about turning into a princess.

I hope the destiny crap stops soon. I think it’s really stupid to say that a symbol defines you and who you are ment to be. Kids could get the wrong idea.

The thing I don’t understand about this is why Rarity thinks its her destiny to control the weather because of Dash’s cutie mark. I was always under the impression that Dash’s talent was being fast of something.

The only thing I can gather is that reversing this spell requires making her own magic, and that’s a feat worthy of princessdom or something.

Personally, I agree more with Sjogre’s interpretation that she was destined more for being a great wizard like Starswirl or something, and not necessarily royalty.

But, I’d like to see what they come up with. For what it’s worth, I share your concern.
