@Nesto
A lot of the “badass” callsigns are typically given to someone who’s full of themselves, and the goofy nicknames are often meant to be endearing.

@WassonG
Actually speaking to a few pilots in my time a call sign is usually never made from the one that bears it, it’s usually a nickname other pilots make up through chiding or cause it matches their last name, most of the time the one receiving the name won’t like it. For example a trainee left his helmet by the hangar doors and had it crushed by the door, now he is called Door Jam. Another is named Nutsbe since his last name was Chaffin, put that together and have a good laugh.

If Rainbow Dash is Pixy, then Fluttershy is The Demon Lord Of The Round Table?

As if you actually get to pick it, Pixy is EXACTLY the sort of callsign real pilots get, and if you whine about it they’ll find something even worse.

“Oh,him? Yeah,i know him. It’s going to take a while. . . It happened years ago”

“Did you know. . . there are three kinds of aces?”

“Those who seek strengh”
“Those who live for pride”
“And those who could read the tide of battle.”

“Those are the three”

“And Him?”

“He was a true ace.”
