What the shit?! That’s the coolest name EVER!
Actually (at least in Polish dub) Storm King was never depicted as the king in the movie, and they gave him “Storm” as his name. He then depicted himself as the lord of storms. And maybe they translated her name, because of the target, that are mostly children.

Not sure about that but I can just tell you Polish version of Fizzlepop Berrytwist instead.
Its “Jagodowy Rożek Lodowy” (now google translate this back to English). As I said they didn’t translated any pony name in the show and in the movie, even Storm King was left (yet “Król Burz” would be fine enough direct translation). Yet they decided that Fizzlepop Berrytwist need to be translated.

I think my lack of understanding of the Polish language is giving me difficulty. Do you think you can come up with an English name that would be just as bad as the Polish version and could help me understand your point better?

Either way, the fact that her name sounds terrible is meant to be a joke, so I fail to see how a bad translation would make it worse. Doesn’t it make sense that making her name sound worse would make the joke funnier?
