Now that you mention it the whole Crystalling it’s a methaphor of the Nativity or the Sun Solstice where the Sun God dies and is reborn just like you said Jesus/Atis/Odin died on the stake and then the darkness came but throu its rebirth both winter and death are beaten. Gee boy/gurl you were right!

No no. Let me explain. The name of the episode is The Crystalling, which is a play on Christening, and the episode is about Princess Flurry Heart getting her “Crystalling”, (at the end she is named). Princess Flurry Heart is treated as this really important figure who happens to be really powerful, (just like Jesus was even though really he was some guy who started a religion and got crucified). She starts an unstoppable winter, which since I didn’t read the Bible I can only assume is a metaphor for the fact Christmas is on December 25, even though Jesus was born in April.

I don’t know, it occurred to me when I realized this episode came out between Good Friday and Easter.

You know, it just occurred to me, is it possible that this episode was a metaphor for Easter?
