Though it would have been very interesting to showcase the dichotomy of Good and Evil, and how such phrases can be entirely flipped around in that the being we once thought was Evil was actually pretty Justified if Flawed in their own actions and have us actively question the motives of a single individual we have looked at that the main characters had always thought of as a Paragon.
 
It would be so for Cozy Huginn-Muninn Glow, the Alicorn Daughter of Princess Celestia whom Equestria forgot. Cozy Glow, born in the early mornings of Winter Wrap-Up just a scant 4 years before Nightmare Moons’ Return as the daughter of Princess Celestia and the mirror universe King Sombra, heralded throughtout most of Equestria as The Light of Lights for her unparalleled power that nearly-rivaled that of Celestias own; managing to help raise and set the Sun on her own when she was only 3, and had a bright future ahead of her as the one whom would eventually take over for her mother when Celestia planned to retire… But it was a destiny that was instantly shattered one fateful day.
 
A scant 48 hours before Nightmare Moons’ return, Celestia experienced one of her prophetic visions that foretold the possibility of doom to all Equestria at the hooves of her own beloved Cozy Glow should her heart become pained by Magic. Acting quickly and without the input or advice of others, Celestia used the Elements of Harmony on her own daughter to cast a curse that removed her horn and her Alicorn immortality, sealing both away within a Red Rook and casting it into the Void to be lost forevermore.
 
Cozy said that this was too drastic and hasty of an action, and tried to speak reason into her mother stating that what she just did was too extreme to do to her own child, and that there could have been another way to solve this dilemma without such an extreme resort. Only for Celestia to yell at Cozy Glow stating that her daughter was being selfish and probably had no love at all for Equestria to want back her own magic despite the risks that could come from possessing it should her heart become pained by Magic… But this wasn’t the limit to the curse that was placed upon Cozy. Not only was her powers and Immortality taken from her, but also was her very memory and all accumulated knowledge regarding the youngest Alicorn stripped away from everyponies memories, all pictures, gifts, legal documents, everything that could be used to prove her own existence and connection to Princess Celestia that would be available to either the public or upper levels of government that are beneath the Sun Princess. To the rest of Equestria, Cozy Glow never even existed.
 
Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Twist, Dinky, Alula, Button Mash, Berry Pinch, Piña Colada, Truffle, Snips and Snails, all of her friends in Ponyville whom had a connection with Cozy that helped to previously unite them as the first iteration of the Cutie Mark Crusaders (then known merely as The Markless Marauders), whom stayed together with those who possessed their Cutie Marks helping others that didn’t have them yet to learn or understand a different interpretation for their talents. In this respect, Diamond Tiaras’ special talent rested in Jewelmaking instead of leadership: having learnt techniques together with Cozy Glow applying several ancient Disciplines carried within the Rich Family’s vaults with Knowledge from The Castle of The Royal Sisters to effectively rediscover the basics of Earth Pony Magic together, and use that information to create several minor enchantments such as enchanting Diamonds’ Diadem to transform into a helmet whenever she is in the close proximity of a Draugr, along with altering the frames of Silver Spoons’ and Twists’ glasses to turn them into spotlights when speaking a keyphrase thereby allowing them to see in the dark (not too dissimilar to Simons’ goggles from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann ). With this knowledge Cozy Glow planned to combine these disciplines in other ways by incorporating Earth Pony Magic into several cooking techniques learned or taught to the families of Apple Bloom, Silver spoon Piña Colada, Berry Pinch, Twist, and Truffle in order to create a Vitality Ambrosia, their end goal being to use that Ambrosia to remove the Curse of Seethe that clung to Scootaloo that kept her wings from growing in properly and preventing her from flying. All that knowledge and experience, the research that they had performed together as friends that would have majorly impacted Equestria in a positive way: erased and forgotten forever…
 
But this wasn’t the only thing that Celestia did to Cozy, not only did she erase Cozy Glow from everyponies memories and to strip away her daughters’ magic and Immortality, she would thereby banish Cozy Glow from Canterlot and send her away. Stating that as the ruler of Equestria, she will not take a chance if Cozy was to become a serious threat to Equestria to stand around and do nothing to stop it from happening… however as her daughter left Canterlot forever, Celestia soon then realized that she had actually caused a SELF-FULFILLING prophecy: having usedtheElements of Harmony to strip away her daughters powers and entire life, paining Cozy Glows heart in the process. She could have done something to get her daughter back, but she herself was a slave to her own image of perfection, and if everypony were to learn about what Celestia did to her own daughter along with violating the sanctity of everyponies memories to achieve this: it would forwver taint her image as being a tyrannical ruler, which ironically was already apparent the moment Celestia chose to ignore the cries and weeping of her younger sister Luna and used the Elements of Harmony to seal her away in the Moon for 1000 Years… especially when that seal could have been easily undone after just 24 Hours by moving the stars in the nighttime sky to unlock her sister from her prison.
 
And entirely unknown to everypony including Princess Celestia, The Avatar of Harmony, having grown angry at Princess Celestia for her arrogance and controlling attitude, placed a curse upon “The Sun Tyrant” that the Avatar of Harmony hoped would break Celestias’ haughty and moral superiority complex by attacking her own stance of doing questionable deeds in protecting Equestria. This Curse removed Celestias’ Warrior Spirit not too dissimilar to what happened to Freya from God of War, though instead of removing Celestias Warrior Spirit entirely; it merely made it impossible for Princess Celestia to ever actually win on her own or with others directly in any battle or confrontation she comes across, it also dulled her own senses to make her easy to ambush and incapacitate (Despite the encroachment of the Plunder Vines, the Tree of Harmony managed to gain a degree of control over the Plunder Vines in order to manipulate them into capturing Celestia and Luna in order to bring them before the Tree and use them Elements of Loyalty and Honesty to subject both Alicorns Sisters to the Truth: which the Tree hoped would have revealed Celestias lies about Nightmare Moons imprisonment along with the existence of Cozy Glow to Princess Luna if given enough time)

Given the incompetence of the writers behind the last few seasons, I’m glad they didn’t give her one. I’d much rather it be left to fanfiction, where we can occasionally get something decent.
