Brotherhooves Social is my perfect episode. My current favorite episode of the series. It feels weird saying that though, since Crusaders of the Lost Mark aired right after this, and that episode is also one of my favorites, and it seems to overshadow Brotherhooves Social a bit for most people. This is seriously an amazing episode, not just because of the ending.

What I also liked about this episode is that it’s the last one before Crusaders of the Lost Mark. It’s the last one where Apple Bloom is truly a kid.

I can’t even recall the last time I had a moment like this with my own sisters. Now they’re teens and our lives are so individualized. But because of MLP I still yearn to be friendly and social. Not easy in a world like today.
