@Background Pony #E8BF
that’s why i mentioned variants of her would probably con exclusives (limited run but high demand/will make high demands).
collector market is craaaaaaazy~
wonder if her stock will rise with the little girl demographic if she gets featured in the show (or equestria girls gets turned into a separate tv show).
@OptimusPrimevil
To be honest, I kind of wonder if its not kind of like a Rodimus prime type situation: She’s being pushed to try and make her a new big thing, but the general audience (Little girls that is), saleswise, just isn’t latching onto her.
Because while hasbro will allow her to be used for a large amount in the show without too much quibbling, unless her toys are selling well they’re less likely to greenlight more special toys for her.
On that note, I kind of wish it was possible to get figures as to how well the deluxe toys like midnight sparkle and time to shine shimmer are selling/have sold compared to the normal mane six ones.
actually quite strange; Sunset has the most push and focus in the EQG universe, but seems to have the least sales traction lately given how few toys she has and, with most of it being dedicated to the classic mane six :/
Apart from the time to shine sunset shimmer dolls (which were pretty quickly pulled from shelves where I was at) sunset seems to be kind of sitting kind of low for shelf space
