The one woe of being an alicorn. Have the power and intent to magically solve a problem? Too bad! You have to sit by and watch horrible things happen until the pony with the appropriate destiny shows up! I wonder if it’s some kind of innately-enforced law they have to follow, like the habits given to the Contractors in Darker Than Black.
