Imma have to disagree with you… Just that last line where you say its nothing to get worked up about. I still think FO:E is one of the best fics out there. I read it iirc in the middle of S3… or beginning of S4? I dont remember. And I loved it. PH is ok but not much more. It has its moments of glory but they are hidden by 76 chapters of length and not amazing stuff…
 
TL;DR, agree to disagree, FO:E is imo one of the best fics but PH is k.

You said it yourself that it was written in the early years in the fandom, so you cant really make fun of the first book for that. The show itself still needed time to go further in depth with the main characters. In fact on multiple occasions, we see that the main six act kind of like they do in Fallout:Equestira in multiple newer episodes.

Ok that ending is basically what I expected. However the Epilogue just sounds stupid as hell outside of the stuff with Boo which I basically saw coming as well if she were to survive. I’ve always felt that while both of the major Fallout Equestria stories (the Original and PH) aren’t anything terrible; they are also extremely overrated.
 
The first gets a lot of praise mostly because it was written early in the fandoms life and this one gets a lot because it’s basically the sequel to it. Both are nothing really special (nor are they complete garbage as some would say) and in fact I would argue that the first one is actually really bad when it comes to the canon FIM characters; however you can I guess blame that on when it was written. Overall neither are really anything to get that worked up about in the long run.

[/spoiler]Basicly, BJ wants to go in alone but then everyone is here for her (psychoshy and the zodiacs etc) and then also Luna’s soul and Celestia talk so BJ refers to Celestia as sister (CRINGE)…  
Anyway! SHE GOES IN.  
And they fight the legate.. Or whatever monstrosity he became. They kill him. Victory!? No. He comes back, all shiny and stuff and says something stupid so the eater kills him instead, saying he doesn’t need him anymore. Then BJ tells everyone to fuck off so she can 1v1mlg the eater. Which she does. She reks the fade shields, all but one.. And as she gets her wings torn appart and her legs torn off, she watches the eater eat up Tom who was caught by the last fade shield generator… And so she shoots the shield generator and Tom reks the eater.  
BJ dies.  
The end!
 
Epilogue! Epilogue: 200 years later, BJ’s still alive and so is Littlepip. Somber goes back and forth through time, (from 50 years later to 200 to 500 to 20…) BJ and pip are together as sex buddies most predominantly. Boo is now 99% discord and is also a slut (using sex to get what she wants) and also she’s a terrorist…
 
Bj and Pip go to the moon and they get Rampage back who kind of dies but comes back, only this time the talisman is gone so it’S Rampage’s last life basicly.. teh edn.[spoiler]
 
Also, this is a quick and halfassed explanation.

You know part of me knows I should finish this to give a full judgement on it but I had already been forcing myself to read the story for quite some time as it was; and then P-21 died and I stopped caring at all. Anybody want to give me a rundown of the rest of it, so I don’t have to slog through the end?

I fucking hate how Boo became a slut as of the epilogue.

Of course! I’ve only read Fo:E and Pr. Horizons but when you consider that even 2 companions in the Fallout games is incredibly powerful… Damn!
