Iron Will is misguided more often than not, but he never really means people harm. He just needs some close supervision.
He never actually tried to hurt anyone after all. I simply don’t think he realized just how serious this all was.

Not really, if that happened it was off-panel. We never technically saw her discuss her plans with any of them, though I suspect we will get some expository flashbacks in part 2 when they are interrogate by the mane 6.
It’s not like she re-wrote his personality to turn him into an evil monster. Ever minotaur has his price, and he was in a funk about his buisness. She used that to her advantage.
He’s the only one without a grudge and comes across as the least evil.
But she’s all like “Hey, wanna join my villain group?”
Um, no? That’s not what happened at all.
