Spike: Hey, Rares! Welcome home
 
Rarity: Hello, Spikey-wikey. Where’s Claire?
 
Spike: I put her to bed already.
 
Rarity: Is she feeling alright?
 
Spike: Ehhhh……. not so much
 
Rarity: Oh poor thing.
 
Spike: She’s been sneezing all day and that weird rash is still there.
 
Rarity: groans
 
Spike: The doctor gave her some medicine though. And it looks like it’s working!
 
Rarity: Oh that’s wonderful. I imagine it was expensive……..
 
Spike: rubs his neck Yeah………..
 
Rarity: Understandable. She does have to travel from Canterlot….
 
Spike: Too bad there’s no specialized doctors here in Ponyville
 
Rarity: nods
 
Spike: How was work?
 
Rarity: Fine. I have a lot of new orders to fill. So I most likely will be in Canterlot for a while……. again.
 
Spike: nods
 
Rarity: ……………………………
 
Spike: ………………………
 
Rarity: ………………… Spike?
 
Spike: Hm?
 
Rarity: So, I’ve been thinking on something for quite some time…
 
Spike: About what?
 
Rarity: sighs Moving to Canterlot.
 
Spike: Really? But I thought you were against that idea.
 
Rarity: I am but I think it’s for the best.
 
Spike: How so?
 
Rarity: Well, it’ll be easier to get business over there. I know Sassy is doing fine at Canterlot Carousel but I believe if I’m actually there as well, we can double sales. I’ve been getting plenty work in Canterlot so it makes sense to be there and not have to commute everyday. And it’ll be less expensive to have Claire’s doctor come visit since the hospital isn’t far away…… Plus, there, I’d be able to stay home and watch Claire so you can start helping Celestia or Twilight again.
 
Spike: That all sounds great, it really does………. but what about always having Ponyville as your home base? And our friends?
 
Rarity: I-I know but Spike we need to think about Claire now. If we stay here, it will be far too expensive with all her doctor’s appointments and my commute on the train everyday. We won’t be able to support her. Besides, we’ve all been busy anyways. Applejack just had her foal, Fluttershy’s all over the place helping critters, Pinkie’s been traveling like crazy with Cheese, Rainbow’s already living in Cloudsdale Twilight has been swamped in her princess duties, all the more reason for you to start working with her again. As far as friends go, I don’t think much will change.
 
Spike: When you’re right, you’re right. Who’ll watch this place?
 
Rarity: I suppose I could ask Coco…
 
Spike: nods
 
Rarity: begins tearing up
 
Spike: Oh, Rares pulls her into a hug
 
Rarity: I don’t want to move………
 
Spike: I know…..
 
Rarity: I’m going to miss it here………..
 
Spike: Me too but I think Canterlot’s for the best.
 
Rarity: sighs
 
Spike: Chin up. This is a good thing. Canterlot could use the rules of Rarity. Besides, we don’t have to stay there long. We could always come back smiles Okay?
