It’s not breaking any rules on this site, it’s not a personal attack on someone on this site, it’s not illegal content, and it’s not hate speech or otherwise bigoted. Cry all you want about how it’s offensive and how you should not use your freedom of speech(lolwut), this pic is probably staying. Filter it if you must.  
I have no strong feelings towards 9/11 either way. The only thing that rustles my jimmies is when someone, even if it’s someone who lost a loved one on that day, milks it for a political agenda. Those “Ground Zero” mosque protests from a year ago? Yeah, fuck those guys. They’re the ones who hate freedom.

Well, considering his reputation precedes him, this person is obviously a very hateful person. So I’m going to follow Yorec’s lead and remove myself from the conversation now, too. I don’t even have to talk directly to someone with such a reputation to know that his sole purpose is to simply piss people off with hateful ignorant comments. I can already see it.

There is none. Other than, “It’s funny cause it’s dark.” And that’s no explanation. It’s a pathetic excuse to say and do horrible things and have them be justified.

I doubt anyone can really argue that this picture wasn’t posted because someone felt the NEED to Exercise their freedom of speech. It was posted to be hurtful and mean and to get a rise out of people. When you use your freedom of speech in a hateful way, and then hide behind it like a coward and call foul of people calling you on your asshole-ish ways, you are doing a terrible disservice to the fact you even HAVE the right to post something like this.
 
Sometimes, the best way to Exercise your right to freedom of speech, is to not Exercise it. Does that make sense to you?

Yeah, I’m fine with “dark humor,” and all. (I love Max’s famous .MOV pony parodies personally.) Though, this is kinda “pushing it,” and it really didn’t need to be posted on a 9-11 anniversary. Obviously whoever posted it wanted to cause a huge argument/fight over it by posting it today.
 
I bet if somebody made an animated GIF of Derpy causing the Japanese tsunami, that all the people here saying, “Oh, making fun of 9-11 is ok, you all are to sensitive” would be really angry over it instead.  
(Heck, Gilbert Gottfried got fired from being the “AFLAC duck” for making a joke about the tsunami once. Not justifying him, I’m just saying he did.)
 
PS: IMO Family Guy “jumped the shark” long ago. (Especially once the show got to preachy.)
