Well, others in the Disgaea games have been able to acquire Gig’s help, although he was generally convinced through the promise of good food. And while he does come off as kinda of a jerk, he was pretty loyal to groups who managed to even remotely impress him. He also really doesn’t seem to have a reason to betray others. He’s not out for money, or fame and certainly not power. From what I’ve seen, he just wants to be entertained. As for me, I’d give him a chance and see what happens.

I never said Gig was lacking in the power department, I just said he was a poor villain. Besides with that much power he has no challengers to his supposed power and place. I doubt any pony could convince Gig to be their ally. I would not trust him to have my back! Would you?

You shouldn’t count him out too quickly. From what I read about him, the guy destroyed over half his world and caused the deaths of millions of people all because he thought it was fun and needed a quick laugh. And if he’s even half as strong as he claims to be, he would potentially make a good ally to anyone who could convince him.

I’m no fan of your’s. But you do, in a twisted sort of way, remind me of myself. Of course, the only difference is I’m 2,000 percent cooler, faster and generally way more awesome than you are.
