It’s why I put Twi there to begin with. The original was just her flipping you off and being like “what’re you gawking at, you faggot?” but between not looking pony related and people probably misinterpreting it as hate art I figured I’d better aim her wrath at Twilight instead so it’s immediately pony-related.

Addition to the end of argument 1:
They are NOT the same person, just as Jason Grace (an actual son of Jupiter) is NOT the same Jason that sailed with the Argonauts in ancient times.
@Lawful Girly
Okay, first of all: Percy Jackson was NAMED AFTER the mythological Perceus because (to quote the character’s mother) he was “one of the only heroes who got to live in the end.” Perceus is an ancient hero while Percy Jackson is a modern day teenager from New York City.
Secondly: Rick Riordan does A LOT of research on the mythologies he writes about and you should actually give the books a read before you call them inaccurate because they’re mostly spot-on. For example, in his most recent novel “Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard,” Loki is correctly stated to be Thor’s “battle brother” rather than his actual biological brother as most have come to believe.
Thirdly: Khione is the most literal embodiment of the term “Ice Queen” to ever appear in fiction since the White Witch of Narnia and it is a VERY appropriate name given how the pictured Windigo hybrid abomination likely sustains herself on a diet of hostility and conflict.
@Badumsquish
Uh, “The Heroes of Olympus” in no way represents actual mythology (let’s start with the fact that the first Perseus was the son of Zeus, not Poseidon), she was rather nice in the original mythology.
@ShimmeringStallion @Twifan
Don’t you worry, she can in fact feel love and affection. It’s just a bit warped. She’s just as much human as she is windigo, so she has the capacity for both true love and affection and drawing power from negativity and hate.
…The next pic with her will showcase it, and it will either be funny or offensive depending on your outlook on the whole thing.
