Lauren, hon, you started a revolution that I’m sure that even you didn’t expect would happen. And now, six years later, it’s turned into a thing that no one can control. And that’s a wonderful thing and I salute you for it. Hail Hydra.

Bags under ones eyes are also an artist way of showing age. Since Fausticorn here is generally accepted as the Mother of all Ponydom, it’d stand to reason she’d be Ancient. (plus if you’ve seen a picture of Ms. Lauran, she’s got a small set of puffy under eye lids too.)
She looks kind of tired (bags under her eyes).
It makes me kind of want to see someone go up to her and say “That’s enough, Lauren. It’s time you get some sleep.”
And Lauren Faust is all “Yawn, but I’m not…sleepy…yet…”
And then she totally falls asleep and she’s put to bed.
