If a topic like this is truly that contentious for you, the fandom for cartoon ponies preaching friendship and harmony and saturating everything with hearts and hugs may not be the right fit for you.

Imagine if I was a site admin and suddenly picked an image supporting something you didn’t agree with. For example, an image supporting DOMA when it was approved. Wouldn’t you be bothered by it?
 
I think that staff, paid or not, should try to be as neutral as possible. To don’t alienate the more users with more liberal or conservative views. Not saying you cannot have your views, just that you shouldn’t use the picture of the day to express them. How about faving, upvoting and commenting, like the normal users do?

I’m pretty sure they don’t mean an actual legally-binding contract as the admins live all over the world (and I doubt the website owners have a lot of money to just throw at lawyers). This is probably just a way to refer to the set of rules/conditions that admins have to agree to in order to be allowed to stay administrators.

I like the way the pic uses so little detail but it is so well spread that you eyes fill in the gap.

Why in the pit would a volunteer member of a website have a work contract? I mean i could understand if this was a for profit site, you got to have some leverage on the Mods to keep them in line because they can hurt your income, But here really? just seems kinda like a bad move since they seem to have trouble getting enough mods as is, Maybe they should drop all that legal stuff might not scare off as many applicants,

Well, it doesn’t have to be the parents who provide the role models for both genders. There’s grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, neighbors, family friends, friends’ families, teachers, Scout leaders, coaches etc. ad nauseam.

People reeeeeeally want to push this couple I guess. It is sad that it probably won’t be allowed, but hey, at least other shows are doing it. (Steven Universe, Korra)

I forgot being apolitical and being unable to express or support any sort of opinion was in my work contract.

It kind of cringe me seeing admin taking a political stance. I hope you guys pick something when concealed carry gets legal in all states.

Heh, was quite surprised that this became my most fav’d picture i made so far, beat out a few others i have by a hundred. Easiest way i found to make gifs is to do everything in adobe premiere and then render a 15fps file and use a free converter to gif.
