I’m not shipping them- I’m just saying that it was weird for them to animate that. If they wanted to have things be realistically platonic- a nod or an elbow poke woulda been much less open to shipping interpretation.

Besides older siblings to protect very young siblings when out in public, holding hands just doesn’t seem like regular behaviour- so it kinda strikes me as a pretty ship-heavy decision to include that.
