In this context, PTSD kinda seem perversely funny a proposition.

I… don’t think that was the joke at all. I’m pretty certain that the joke was that the man, who’s supposed to be the big tough guy, was the one who got all emotional. PTSD is pretty heavy for a kid’s show.
Totally worth it.
…it was kinda funny still.
Celestia doesn’t work cheap. Even if the wedding was between a princess and her student’s brother, who has put in years of service to the crown, doesn’t matter. She gotsta get paid.
And the groom. Who happens to be captain of her royal guard and her faithful student’s brother.
