Dubstep CAN be heavy in different ways that Rock music is usually heavy.

In music there aren’t hipsters because the music is subjective… There was a time when the rock was that what the dubstep is todays.
Rock hipsters? Punk hipsters? Metal hipsters? Jazz hipsters, etc hipsters? All genre hipsters.
With the heavy dubsteps the rock is not so heavy anymore. Just an avarege genre.
Well, if Gibson’s Johnny Mnemonic would have done well we would have that Nueromancer movie sitting in the dusty forgotten video rental shacks cuddling with Robot Jocks for warmth.
Ha, didn’t know that, but doesn’t surprise me. Could have been worse, could have done Maelcum’s voice with a Jar Jar Binks accent.
Would love to see a movie of this, but it’s been borrowed from so heavily that it would just seem like a hash of cyberpunk tropes now. I have a copy of the script Gibson wrote for Neuromancer, too; so dumbed down it makes the Keanu Johnny Mnemonic look brilliant.
You do know that is William Gibson himself right? And, yes his reading gets on my nerves too, but I wanted to include the background music they decided to drop in for the 80something audiobook tape in there.
Great book, worst audio book narrator in history. Ugh.
