After the trip yes
Man, did you even go to a doctor for that? XD
That sounds a lot better than cauterizing over an open fire…
I had nasal cautery for recurrent nosebleeds, when I was 12. It’s not nearly as bad as it sounds, they use topical anesthetic to numb the area first. It definitely reduced the nosebleeds although they didn’t stop completely.
Yeesh.
I have a buddy who used to get really bad nose bleeds. They had to cauterize a section of his nostrils to make sure they wouldn’t happen anymore.
Ok, we can scratch that possibility off the list then, so long as you haven’t been taking a lot of aspirin or other “blood-thinning” things since then.
If I had hemophilia you would not be talking to me, I cut my arm down the length during a two week hiking trip about five days in, and I’m still kicking
Yes, do that. They’ll probably recommend you drink more water to start, but if that doesn’t reduce their frequency, you might have a (at worst) serious or (at best) very annoying problem. You might have to get a blood test taken to check for clotting issues (hemophilia), if you also bleed a lot in general from small injuries.
Wait, severe hydration…
I might need to see a doctor, IRL, I’ve been having nose bleeds a lot recently
