I always hated the “Remember the New Guy” trope. Oh, turns out Twilight’s always had a brother she’d always looked up to, as well as Cadance who is not only her foalsitter but a princess as well? That’s so sweet…
…except in the first season, she’d explicitly stated that she never had any real friends until she moved to Ponyville.
Of course, the other girls didn’t know who either of them were either.
Well, I suppose if the husband is a respected figure, he’d NEED to accept her into his life, if she had a child…

Its depressingly easy to image her looking for an abortion because she doesn’t want having a child to ruin her career.
Or the rather opposite, but still pretty depressing, idea, that she deliberately had a kid (but for selfish reasons.)

It’s disturbing how I wouldn’t be surprised if that ended up being the truth…
I’m pretty sure her mom hasn’t tried to outright murder her in canon.

Tiarabuse in general ain’t really funny anymore now that we know what her mother’s like.
