Took me a while to process that (hue), but it might work if Twilight could build up enough power to bring another pony with her.
Instead of fluttershy eating future twilight, then twilight eating fluttershy, then going back and being eaten: twilight could go back in time with fluttershy, get eaten by past fluttershy, while fluttershy was being eaten by past twilight!
I’mma just leave this here.
More mass would be introduced to every new loop. But thiz would be a diminishing effect every loop. This is due to the inefficiency of energy conversion due to digestion and the loop would eventually reach a point where it stabilizes.
What about the added/missing mass?
I think you’re confusing the two Twilights. Think of it like this:
You have Twilight (T) and Fluttershy (F). When future Twilight shows up, let’s call her Z. So, it works like this:
T and F are in the same room. Suddenly, Z shows up, and F vores Z. Then T vores F, and travels back to become Z.
It’s actually a nice little paradox-free causality loop.
