Really? “Equal Four” is what we settled with in the end? Guys, we had “Friendtastic Four” and the “Free Town Four” to choose from, and we went with something basic and possibly unsuited instead? As someone else said in the comment thread here, equality was a negative concept in the premier, so why would it make sense to call these guys after it?

Equal Four… Me gusta! My first idea was OC4, but this one is better. :)

I don’t really like “Equal Four,” because one of them, Double Diamond, was more-or-less Starlight Glimmer’s enforcer and the other three, Sugar Belle, Night Glider, and Party Favor, were dissenters in a sense. That doesn’t really come across as being so “equal” to me. Aside from that, after they got their cutie marks back, if the party is any indication, they seemed happy to all be different…

Well that’s just a needlessly smart-aleck response. HAVE male alicorns been explicitly ruled out at any time by Word of God? If so, please provide links. Otherwise, please do not try to pass off your own opinions as fact. :)
