I tried the listed fixes, and it makes it so the game doesn’t instantly crash when launched. But the sound still goes out as soon as you get into the actual playable game.

I wanted to play it. But playing in Windows 7 or later means the sound is broken. :T Bioshock 2’s been fun enough, though.

I really need to play a Bioshock game at some point… but they’re just scary to me, and I have trouble with any sort of fear or tense atmosphere in a game.
 
Not to mention BEES in a game… Ugh… don’t get me started on Zingers…

Because of my crappy internet connection, when I first load up this .gif, I can watch it in slo-mo, so to speak. The fingers on her left had do move; not a lot, but some.
