well, depending on the rifle it might only move say for instance 600 feet per second, so from a few bus lengths away, you’d have about a tenth of a second to react. railgun might have less “kick” though, since it can accelerate the bullet over the length of the barrel, rather than only at the initial explosion, so it could have a much higher muzzle velocity.
 
but the thing with dodging bullets is, you don’t have to avoid the bullet. you only have to avoid the path of the bullet, which moves as slowly as the shooter can aim.
 
either way it’s BS, since scitwi’s whole thing is frankensteining science and magic together, so she’d blow the princess to kingdom come before ponytwi even got to the part about smugly telling her that you have to science and magic together. also she’s not evil, so she’d never aim it at anyone who wasn’t a giant rampaging monster and/or robot.

Depends. Generally if you want to not, y’know, get launched backwards with full accordance to the Third Law, handheld railgun won’t launch projectiles any faster than a regular rifle would.

Twilight- eeer. sorry but that isn’t gonna work. science is really wonderful but compared to magic, it is secondary. magic has always been able to do more than science can, and science only makes it stronger.
 
Science twilight- i knew i should have made it automatic fire.
 
Twilight- that is scientifically impossible. even with magic you would only be limited to three shots a minute.

I like to think this is how Twilight will be if she was in Perfect Dark.
