Dunno why you’d say that. Twilight could beat these guys on her lonesome with a simple magical hold. Steven might be able to counteract that with his shield, but as far as I can tell, he’s not there!
 
People tend to really overrate the power of the Crystal Gems. Part of the whole charm is that they aren’t these monstrously powerful fighters, but rather just a bunch of skilled heroes with good hearts.
 
Let’s not forget how all thee three were completely helpless against Lapis Lazuli (and that Lapis with the ocean at her back is still the single most powerful gem shown in the series… well, except Malachite, I suppose, but even then it’s the Lapis part of Malachite that is impressive anyway).

it’s rare for long running shows to maintain a near constant level of quality.

i like mlp fim really hard but SU i like more because it really is better at this point.

That was such an awesome song in an awesome episode! I have to admit, while I still love MLP:FiM, Steven Universe is my favorite cartoon currently being produced.

That the enemies are essentially corrupted ex-allies kinda like how Madoka had witches being ex-Magical Girls and how Kamen Rider Gaim had the monsters being people who ate fruits from an alien forest.
