EVERYONE is on even playing field in 4chan.  
Due to the anonymity, you are judged by the content you post, not by who you are.  
That would mean that you were doing things worthy of being insulted and called a pedophile, or you were namefgging (a cancer upon itself) and kept posting things to the point of having your name known.

As for my “patronizing” remarks, they speak from experience. I went over to 4chan almost 3 years ago, possibly a little longer ago. I had JUST gotten into the show and a brony directed me to /mlp/. I was met with hostility, deaththreats, insults, and claims that I was a pedophile.
 
I put up with this constant assault of the same thing for nearly 2 weeks strait before I cleared my cache, removed 4chan from my bookmarks, and swore to never let it cache my HDD again.
 
Hell, I’d pull up the threads as proof if it weren’t so freaking long ago and swearing to never go back there.
 
Now given my experience, care to call my remarks “false” again?
 
Now then onto the next part of my reply(if you bothered to read this far down…you probably stopped 4 sentences ago. If not, then points to you for not being a dick.)

Just because a bunch of bronies suddenly flooded 4chan one day or month does not mean the fandom started there. Frankly, we could debate all day long on where it started when it boils down to that no one really knows.
 
Now if you wanna continue claiming that it started there without any concrete proof. Then i’d like to offer this handy little pin-needle over here to pop that overinflated ego of yours.

I write for Horse News, and I find you to be very patronizing.  
It’s all in good fun, and if you cannot understand that, you should leave the fandom, because Horse News is run by the very same people who were starting the fandom.  
I’m not asking you to browse HN, but if you are gonna bitch all day about /mlp/ and HN, then tough shit, they are here to stay.
