Can’t really blame Sunset for wanting to hug and snuggle an adorable pony.

At first Twilight thought the portal failure would be catastrophic, as she would not be able to blend in. The humans would notice her. And they did. But it turns out humans find her real shape rather huggable and adorable. People at CHS had seen weirder things. Crisis averted.
