use force to stop a crimenal is legal by the hotority but force mose use in the right way not as bad way like killing or broke a leg! on this comic many thing be worng! twilight on the show will use her magic to stop civil who worng thing but on this comic she do the inverse! this is why all comic are none canon! but some of them are! like the those who show starwirld and his groupe! and the show them! so now the look of starwirld is now canon! those comic are nothing but story! if the show or movie dont show them , is none canon! if the comic show rarity be married to blue blood or starlight be in love with trixie but the show dont show it , is none canon!

It gets worse. These same bulls were in Rarity and Applejack’s “Friednds Forever” issue for a couple pages, and they weren’t nearly so tough. It’s weird how they’re suddenly such a menace.

I read this comic and its storyline is really poorly writen. A gang of outlaws pludering, destroying and bull-ying the town and the main 6 can’t do a shit. We had a few combat episodes why they can’t do the same thing in this issue? If TS won’t fight them atleast make a barrier around the town and they get bored and leave.

This has been a major problem recently.With the show there are times where its pointless to have the rest of the group there(Daring Don’t for example). And the comics having points where the mane 6 feel like they should be cut from the story/have a smaller role because they’re unnecessary(like Reflections.Cutting out a majority of the Mane 6’s time could’ve left a lot more time to work on other parts of the story like the romance). Really,this arc should’ve had Twilight cut from it and have her in the side story with Spike.It would make sense and it would cut down on the stupidity of the plot.

I think that the part that bothers me most is that not only is this new rule arbitrary, it’s also inconsistent. Twilight didn’t hesitate for a second zapping the pirate ponies several issues back, and she was a princess then, too. If you need an excuse to sideline her, fine, but at least make it a good one.

I’ll grant you Pinkie and maybe Fluttershy being overpowered in certain ways (though Fluttershy’s definitely kept in check by a number of flaws), but I don’t see why Rarity would need to be set aside for the story to work, and I’d like to have her along because putting her and Applejack together is always entertaining.

I think the mane issue is that the comic book writers or the show writers in general shouldn’t be including all the characters in an episode or comic book except of course the beginning or ending so that way there is less to handle in terms of characterization so there is a lower chance of characters being OOC.

I don’t see how Dash can be seen as OP, she can much more easily been bested, if simply by “charging at enemy” “enemy punch back”.  
And that’d be still better because at least it shows she TRIED, but Cook will never do that of course, she never depicted Dash in a good way and apparently trying to defend your friend with force is baaaaad.

I don’t think Dash would be such an issue. Sure, she is extremely fast and strong, but not enough to take on entire army, something Twilight would do with ease. I think Dash and AJ would be balanced enough to not break the conflict, or AJ can team up with Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy.

You’d have similar issue with Dash though not quite as extreme. If you really want to do an adventure story with Applejack as the big hero the best cast to achieve that without contrivence is her paired with Fluttershy and Rarity.

While it is true that Twilight is OP and rarely abuse it, it is done in subtle way. In here they showe in our faces that she need to be useless for the sake of the story, and it make her look appear annoying.

Removing overpowered characters form MLP comic or story was always the biggest weakpoint, because it is always done poorly. They could just let AJ and Dash to be in this comic alone instead of dragging entire cast and seek pointless excuses.
 
While I may agree that drama is this fandom weakness as it freak out over the smallest thing, I cannot deny that the way they force conflicts in the show and comics is a bit of an issue, because it happens a lot.

It is anything but legit.  
There are so many ways this conflict could be resolved, and this is why it is forced.  
“Princess cannot use force against their own subjects” is unreasonable. A princess call upon Royal Guards and lock those who break laws in their kingdoms, and if they are powerful, they should lock the criminals themselves and protect their subjects.
 
Twilight could capture the criminals with easy or ask for reinforcements from Canterlot, I mean, come on, Royal Guards are suppouse to handle stuff like that.
