Here’s hoping my daughter likes what I’ve got her for christmas this year.
(This isn’t everything I’ve got her this year, but this is the main present).
Still need to see if I can find the missing characters, (I know they’ve done Celestia and Luna (because I’ve seen those at my local supermarket in the past), Sonata Dusk, Aria Blaze, and Adagio Dazzle).

At least the blind bag ponies and warhammer toys there aren’t hers.
They’re mine.
Everything else there’s hers.
She’s got the Build-A-Bear plushies as they’ve been released over here in the UK, although the Celestia one coming out around christmas here she’s going to have to wait for.
I’ve spent enough on her this year already.
packaging
The packaging for the EqG dolls is a lot less challenging than for the blind bag collections, which seem designed to hold on to the figures even if that means breaking them rather than turning loose. >_< It looks like you’ve got the ones that have thin plastic strips holding the dolls in place, and those are pretty easy to pull apart. A tiny-razor-blade-in-a-plastic-holder type of letter opener should be plenty to cut the tape holding the boxes closed, and safer around a tot than a boxcutter or knife.
Not to be an ass, but be carefull not to overspoil your child. Too much gifts will diminish their importance, meaning they will lose that “something special”. This may risk making an entitled teen who think everything should come free and effortless to her. If you are not careful, she may become just like THEM.
Here’s hoping.
Not really looking forward to getting them out of their packaging come christmas morning though.
Got her a couple of lego friends sets too, and she’ll probably want me to build those for her as well.
Going to be a busy morning….
If they sell Octavia I’d be tempted to get that for myself…

I think I may have spent enough on her for one year, but it is a couple of months till christmas so I may see if I can get hold of that CMC set for her.
They sell the CMC at Argos and I think they sell Octavia there as well.

Found the scene I was on about with Blitzwing.
It’s at 11:00 in.
Might be a bit awkward to get hold of those seeing as I’m in the UK.
Even if I could find them (probably through E-bay), I’d end up paying an extortionate amount for them.
This lot wasn’t cheap.
The basic dolls are £12.95 each here. The bigger ones, (Sunset Shimmer and DJ Pon-3) were just under £20 each.
The car was on offer, and had sold out within 3 days. Got it for £10.
So altogether, that lot total in at around £138, or just under.
Not sure what that works out at in other currencies.
They did do the Crusaders as a Target exclusive 3-pack that one time…

I tend to get the full set if I start getting anything for myself or my kids.
Comes from having parents that made a point of not getting the one toy from a set I really wanted.
(Used to be mad on Transformers (to the point of being obsessed), back in the eighties and early nineties when I was a kid, and always wanted Starscream, Ravage, and Blitzwing. Got quite a few transformers, but those ones I really wanted I never got).
For those who don’t know, Blitzwing was a ‘Triple Changer’ that they did for the first animated movie. He’s in the assault on the autobot city at the start. Flies in as a plane, transforms in to a robot, then transforms in to a tank.
