If it helps, I don’t like Flutterbat at all, either. “Bats!” to me not only represents the problems with S4 but also some of the community’s vices (giving in to shallow appeal, shutting down critical opinions, arrogance, …). Although I will concede to others that announcing a downvote is not making us dissenters look good.

Because I don’t want to be like the jackasses who (I’m sure they exist) have the “Spike” or “Sparity” tags filtered, which would prevent me from missing something I might like. And I don’t hate Flutterbat enough to filter it. No, sir, I am gonna neigh it, stay what I think about it, and roll my eyes while people like you insist on drawing out stupid, stupid arguments like this.
 
Besides, one of the very few Spike pictures this artist has sports a 105 > 4 vote ratio, while this equally awesome Flutterbat pic has a 439 > 0, not counting mine. I may as well put a vote toward balancing things out a little, if nothing else.
