Yeah no, it’s not at all. I never said he was “batshit nuts” about writing shipping stories, I said the fact that he lost interest in a pairing that was a big factor/motivator behind his original story means, when coupled with the fact he has chosen to focus more on shorter stories and oneshots that are less work and often greater payoff in response (his Que Sera Sera story), that he is highly unlikely to finish the story. Logic doesn’t even have to factor in here, this is self evident when looking at his stories and fimfic page. If you don’t believe me, ask him yourself, but if you’re set to wait for the next chapter then I hope you won’t be too disappointed when it never comes.
if he gets too burned out of ponies or the trilogy is too much work to ever be finished, i can understand.
but i realy dont see him as the type to be batshit nuts about a shipping like some other people. just the planing of the adamant triskletion must had taken him months, not to mention all the art comissions that went into the book.

Prancy isn’t likely to finish even the sequel, he started doing more short stories and abandoned Rariblood in favor of Rarijack as a pairing which means continuation of the Alicorn trilogy is slim to none at best.
@paluzna
I know, right? Not to hassle Ponydora Prancypants but he hasn’t updated The Abyssal Forge since September and I don’t want to start reading it just to wait months for the next chapter or worse find the story has been cancelled.

I guess that means the filly Twi in the kiddy pool managed to meet the 1000 upvotes in just 3 days! Pretty good! But I guess it’s time for a new featured image.
That’s actually Rarity, not Pinky Pie (those are not ballons but diamonds on her cutie mark). And I’m 99% certain that this is a scene from the fanfic “The Flight of the Alicorn”.
