The true story behind this is that the artist was posting a lot in the Fallout Equestria thread**, one guy said he didn’t like that the artist was getting all that attention, some minor drama happened, then the artist acted like a huge fucking victim. There were not legions of Anons throwing abuse at him, it was one or a small handful saying they didn’t like him. The fact that he took such a small incident and equated it to “Wah, Anons beat me up!” just makes him look real bad. Like a child.

I think y’all are forgetting that while this is certainly true and does reflect 4Chan culture, it is also a joke and should be taken as such. 4Chan is rough and tumble place for a content creator, people tell you what they really think and can shitpost but ultimately you become a tougher person because of it, you’re big enough to take constructive(although often harsh) criticism and know when to ignore idle shit flinging.

It’s just their way of saying they love you.
