He looks like what biologists could call a mason changeling. Akin to the mason bee, they tend to operate independently, but they will often work as a team to construct large nests made from local earthen materials such as clay, mud, wooded material, and pulverized rock in the presence of a female's pheromones; the nests usually also double as their mausoleums, as they pass on shortly after mating and breeding.
