I don’t think you got where I’m coming from, but no matter. To each his own I suppose. I’d say expect such things in the future. Self-Insert or OC, it’s going to happen. I’d suggest toning it down, but I doubt you’ll do such a thing.

Well, he’s not a self insert, he’s a pretty well developed character from my popular fanfic series, I did a lot of work making him his own man.  
Yes I ship Supes and Tia, and the symbol is a small nod to it as I previously explained.  
Yes I want to be like Superman, but actually be him in the literal sense of the word? No. Because I can’t be Superman, no one can, he’s supposed to inspire you, to push you farther than you thought you could go, to catch you when you fall. (I could go on forever, but you get my point.)  
Me forcing this on you? I didn’t think I was, especially given that this it really the first time I’ve had Mr. Ryan drawn in such an instance. Adding to that, in truth I commissioned this piece to be the send off image for my magnum opus, pretty much thanking the readers for coming along on the journey I wrote. So if anything it’s mainly for them, but in a sense it’s for me too, because he is someone I thought up and I want to see him happy, and this would certainly put a smile on anyone’s face.  
If at any point in this I didn’t seem to make sense I apologize, and I suppose I understand, but I’m sure you can understand me as well in this, but regardless thank you for the comment.

Flame wars are going to start no matter what you do. It happens for multiple reason and you can’t really prevent it. I’ll give you that the OC was a bit modest, but many are going to see it as a shitty insert and to be honest, that’s what it looks like. The shield in my opioin is annoying. We get it, you ship SupermanXCelestia and you have this weird wishful thing of being Superman. At this point it just seems like you shoving your OC/Ship down our throats and to make matter worse it comes off as the artist pandering to you. The Art is good , no doubt. However you can’t expect it not to get under someones skin. Same goes for you when such things.

but in all fairness the edited pic did not have a faceless male or a generic one to faciliate a self-insert, it is actually a canon character.
 
I guess many people are just touchy about shipping Canon and non-Canon elements, I personally blame all those Black-and-Red Alicorn OCs that are secretly Twilight’s Long Lost Brother but also her lover or something equally retarded.
 
However I cannot deny that the internet DEFINITELY needs more people like you. ||and not just for more Celestia+Luna comissions ;) ||

Well I’m trying to be respectful and courteous, because that’s just who I am. Secondly; no one can read sarcasm over the internet, so I try to emphasize the fact by actually stating it as not to start a flame war. Thrice I really don’t see why people would be so upset over this, I mean it’s good art, the OC is modest and not over the top (at least in my opinion) and there’s just a small nod to my favorite Superhero on Tia.  
At this point everyone who’s crying for an edit just sounds like ‘NO they’re MY fictitious females that I want to have sex with, YOU can’t have them!’  
but I dirges, all in all I guess if they really can’t appreciate this for what it is then they don’t deserve to look at it. Oh well, their loss.

Okay… just hold your horses buddy, there’s nothing wrong with me.  
I’m not really sure where the whole me needing help thing came from, I was just explaining why there’s a superman tattoo on Celestia in a rather comical fashion. If that rates me getting help then if you met me in real life you’d probably want me to be locked away in a mental ward.  
As for the commissions, I put aside a small bit of my paycheck for these, so I’m good financially. And honestly, if you think six commissions is a lot then you probably pray for the Spiders and Magic guy every other second. (please understand that I’m using sarcasm here, I’m not trying to offend you in any form)  
So please don’t worry about me, I’m fine.

He’s not Superman, he’s just an oc, the tattoo is more or less a nod to the events that lead me to shipping Superman and Princess Celestia harder than two nuclear missiles with FedEx trucks strapped to their warheads slamming into one another. I know it’s minimal, but it’s still there, hence I tagged it.
