But the Cake twins didn’t trigger that. Nor did Dil Pickles in Rugrats or Cleopatra “Dirt Bike” Funnie in Disney’s Doug. Heck, the episode “Operation: D.I.A.P.E.R.” from Codename: Kids Next Door ended with Numbuh 5 telling her teammates “Babies come from–” before cutting to black, and the credits showed her teammates reacting in shock and dismay at her explanation.

Eh, honestly, the sad part about the whole Derpy debacle was it was all of 10 people that bitched about Derpy, 3 or 4 of which were already well known on the internet for having sticks perpetually wedged up their arsses.
….. No seriously, it was ten whole people that caused Derpygate I’m not joking, most of which weren’t even parents!
Everything can trigger parent’s wrath. Remember “Teletubbies”? They’re blamed them for not having sexuality! It’s madness! Madness!
Oh hell no! Parents would be right back on Hasbro’s case again for sparking kids everywhere to possibly question their parents with the ol’ “Where do babies come from?” conversation. They had a FIT over Derpy. Can’t imagine what they’d do if having foals came into the show. They’re lucky Mr. and Mrs. Cake’s twins didn’t trigger that.
Shining and Cady’s relationship seems to be one of the things that’s fallen by the wayside as the series has gone on. Maybe that’ll change, but personally I’m not holding my breath.

They haven’t had one canonically, and this is not part of my universe of art. I don’t want SA and Cadance to have a kid (yet), but I thought I’d try something just for kicks.
If Shining Armor is Violet Starshine’s father, Twilight will be her aunt in any circumstances. And by “any” I mean “any”.

For those who just tuned in, this is part of the universe I’m experimenting with where Shining Armor and Cadance have a kid. That’s where the offspring tag can throw some of you off.
